Accessibility Statement

The short answer

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA: keyboard operable throughout, visible focus indicators, meaningful alternative text, sufficient colour contrast, and full support for reduced-motion preferences. If something here does not work for you, please tell us and we will fix it.

The standard we build to

This site targets WCAG 2.2 level AA. That is not a badge — it is a set of testable criteria, and we test against them. It matters particularly here: a meaningful share of the people reading this site are researching accessible bathrooms because of a mobility or vision change. A website about accessibility that is itself inaccessible would be an unusually poor advertisement.

What we have done

  • Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and no keyboard traps.
  • The mobile menu traps focus while open and returns focus to the button that opened it.
  • Headings follow a logical order, and landmarks let screen-reader users skip directly to the main content.
  • Tap targets are at least 44 pixels tall, verified automatically at ten screen widths on every build.
  • Text and interface colours are chosen to meet AA contrast against their backgrounds.
  • All motion respects the operating system’s reduced-motion setting; nothing moves if you have asked it not to.
  • Images carry meaningful alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology rather than described.
  • Expandable content uses native HTML elements, so it works without JavaScript.

Where we know we fall short

This site is new, and automated checks catch only part of what matters. We have not yet completed testing with screen-reader users, which is the only way to find some categories of problem.

Tell us

If anything on this site does not work for you, please tell us through our contact page and describe what happened and what you were using. We will fix it, and we will tell you when it is fixed.

Start here

Tell us about your bathroom.

Send us the room, your city and roughly when you would like to start. We will follow up to schedule an in-home design consultation—measurements, honest options, and a written scope before you commit to anything.
